When it comes to growing your business, what’s your first big challenge?

It’s reaching to the right prospects. Right?

LinkedIn can be your mate.

“But Pawan, I’m using LinkedIn but my prospecting pipeline is not full.”

Then you’re not using the full power of LinkedIn. You only know basic advanced people search on LinkedIn.

But the question is: “How can you find and qualify PERFECT prospects?”

The fix?

Here, you’ll find an 8-technique checklist to simplify LinkedIn prospecting. These fresh ideas will help to fill your pipeline.

Enjoy…

1. Use Boolean Search

a. Use quotes to find exact results for your search query. Type “[Your Term]”

b. Want to find prospects for two different search terms? Enter [Your Term 1] AND [Your Term 2]

c. Want to combine results for two separate terms? Enter [Your Term 1] OR [Your Term 2]

2. Verify Job Titles

Don’t just look at the headline. Go to the “Experience” section and make sure they’re targeted prospects.

3. Check Number of Connections

Reach out to Prospects on LinkedIn who have at least 200 connections (500+ is ideal).

4. Look at “People Also Viewed” Sidebar

Visit your prospect profile and look at right “people also viewed” sidebar.

5. Check Your Shared Connections

Check if the two of you are both connected with a shared friend or colleague. It’s a great way to connect with them.

6. Get Notified for New leads

Simply type your search term and hit enter. Click ‘Create search alert’ in the upper right corner. Get email notification for new search results.

7. Investigate Their Company Page

Click on Company Logo in the Experience Section.

Investigate the company page — Company Size, Location, Employee Size, and Company Bio.

8. Browse Users Who Have Interacted (like/comment) With Your Post

Take a look at who liked and commented on your post. You can find some good prospects here who will be fit for your product.

BONUS: Scroll through Skill Endorsement Section

Scroll down to prospect’s skills sections and check out who’s endorsed them. It’s similar to “People also viewed” technique.

Now it’s Your Turn

LinkedIn has INSANE amount of opportunities that can help you to find and qualify targeted prospects. I hope this checklist will make LinkedIn prospecting easy.
